The Scout RX3 impressed us in our tests on how well it was able to clean baking powder around baseboards and corners. Its suction of 2,500 Pa was a little weaker than some other robots, however, it moved swiftly and was very quiet. It didn't mop however its washable pads were a bit difficult to attach and didn't deal with dirt that had dried on.

It's also a little erratic when it returns to the charging station following an exercise. Other robots can follow the wall or trace a previous route however the RX3 is a mess until it quits.

Another issue we had was with its intelligent features, specifically the mapping function as well as digital keep-out zones. While it did a great job of keeping away from our shoes and furniture legs but it could easily be caught by cables and socks and it was not able to manage the tassels of rug.
